The campus of University Institute of Technology, RGPV, Shahdol is around 33 acres in area situated in village Chhatwai, Rewa Road, Shahdol. The major campus consists of plain area and a small part of it is located on hilly terrain.
The proposed master plan of the campus incorporates various land uses such as: academic/instructional area, administrative area, recreational area, student’s amenities area, hostel area, residential area, landscaping, green belt, and circulation road networks.
The design ensures optimum utilization of the college campus with proper ventilation, maintaining decorum, peace, and safety without disturbance.
Construction systems use new technologies and high-quality materials, graded according to IS codes. All construction is executed by the Public Works Department (PIU) of the state government.
The institute is located at a beautiful site, with developmental and landscaping features incorporated into the campus environment.
U.I.T-RGPV, Shahdol has excellent residential facilities to cater to the needs of students. There are two hostels: Swami Vivekananda Boys Hostel and Sister Nivedita Girls Hostel. Each hostel is equipped with a T.V., Wi-Fi, sports facilities, water coolers, and well-equipped mess facilities.
It is mandatory for hostel inmates to join the mess in his/her hostel. To ensure a safe and disciplined environment, the campus and hostels are equipped with CCTV cameras for continuous monitoring.

U.I.T-RGPV, Shahdol students actively participate in various sports activities such as Football, Badminton, Kabbaddi, Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, Chess, Carrom, etc.
Ragging is strictly prohibited inside and outside the UIT-RGPV, Shahdol. The Anti-Ragging Committee, formed by the constituent institutes, is empowered to take immediate action against any incident.
Students seeking admission must submit an undertaking regarding this matter. The student is required to give an undertaking signed by himself/herself and by his/her parent/guardian stating that he/she is aware of the UIT-RGPV, Shahdol anti-ragging policies and the punishments applicable if found guilty.
All students admitted to the institute must follow the discipline rules prescribed by UIT-RGPV, Shahdol, and submit the declaration in the proforma at the time of admission.
